The meaning of cherry blossoms in Japanese culture runs deep, and they appear in paintings, poems, songs, and food, thanks to their beautiful scent and unique flavour.

At Pullman Bangkok King Power’s Tenshino Restaurant, authentic Japanese food is fused with a French twist in a Bohemian chic style. Chef Kwanchanok Srithawatchara or “Pan” picks cherry blossoms to represent the sweetness of love in a special sakura set menu designed just for Valentine’s Day.

MIRACLE SPRING

Rice steamed with cherry blossoms for a beautiful scent and pink hue perfect for the day of love.

“Cherry Blossom Gohan” is Japanese rice steamed with slightly salty pickled cherry blossoms to give the rice a pink hue, perfect for the day of love. 

ENDLESS LOVE

Steamed madai fish served with dashi soup. The fish is seasoned with salt and sakura to bring out its fresh and delicate scent.

“Steamed Olive Madai with Cherry Blossom Dashi” is made with a juicy chunk of madai fish, seasoned with salt, cherry blossoms, olive oil, and sake, steamed to perfection and served with grilled vegetables, pumpkin, carrot and shimeji. The dish is sprinkled with purple potato chips for a crunchy texture. Dashi soup is aromatic and flavourful, giving a feeling of enjoying a picnic amidst blooming cherry blossoms.  

HOLD MY HEART

Tai fish served in a nigiri style wrapped with sakura leaf. The fish is tender and juicy, served with Japanese rice steamed with red vinegar for a unique flavour.

“Preserved Tai Nigiri wrapped with Sakura Leaf” is white pink tai fish served on Japanese rice steamed with red vinegar made from sake which has been fermented for more than 10 years, just for this premium restaurant. The rice has a golden hue and natural sweetness. The fish is served in a nigiri style, wrapped with sakura leaf.   

TOGETHER FOREVER

Delicate sakura pudding topped with pink flower jelly. 

“Cherry Blossom Pudding” is a sweet white pudding topped with pink sakura jelly that is slightly salty, giving it a perfect combination of flavours.
