King Power Joined Forces with Ministry of Sports and Tourism Heading North to Present Happy Restrooms at the 3rd Destination – Sri Mueang Park in Nan Province

Winter is officially here! The arrival of winter usually means an influx of tourists especially in the north where tourists are lured by cool air and morning mist. In response with policy to support Thailand’s image as a tourist destination, King Power Group has joined hands with Ministry of Tourism and Sports to present the universal-designed restrooms under King Power Thai Power’s Happy Restroom project to the third tourist destination – Sri Mueang Park in Nan Province on 26 November 2018. The project aims to improve the quality of public utility and raise the hygiene standard of the public restrooms in the tourist attractions to be on par with the world standard.

King Power Group has been committed to social contribution under various projects of King Power Thai Power in order to support the community’s strength, create sustainable prosperity and readiness to take care of the people in the community of all genders and ages. So far King Power Group has installed happy restrooms in 2 tourist destinations; the first being Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden in Maerim, Chiang Mai on 26 April 2018 and the second Thoung Sri Mueang in Ubon Ratchathani on 20 July 2018.

Weerasak Kowsurat – Minister of Tourism and Sports said that winter season had come and attracted a lot of tourists to several destinations in the northern part. Nan Province is one of the popular places where people came to experience winter wind and morning mist. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has collaborated with the private sector – King Power Group in bringing happy restrooms to welcome all visitors to Nan Province. Not only the effort is a New Year gift to Nan people but also a tool to support the image of Nan Province as a tourist destination with world-standard restrooms.
