KING POWER THAI POWER

King Power Group, an international leader of duty free retailer, led by King Power Group CEO Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, has a goal to improve every aspect of Thai society in a sustainable fashion with the launch of “KING POWER THAI POWER”, a project to support Thai people in every aspect.

The first activity is to support Thai youths in sport. “Sport Power” aims to improve football skills among Thai youths nationwide by building football fields for schools to allow children to have a place where they can exercise and spend their free time doing something constructive. A total of 20 schools will see a new football field in 2017, and by 2022, a total of 100 schools will benefit from this project. A million balls will be given to children so that they can practice their football skills.

King Power Group CEO Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha talked about this social campaign by King Power, “We see that Thailand 4.0 can only succeed with the power of Thai people. Thai youths play an important role in the development of our country in the future. King Power has always supported children in order to strengthen our country, and we have a clear policy that our sport activities will focus on children.”

King Power Group also has many other activities to support Thai children’s athletic skills, such as Fox Hunt, Leicester City Football Clinic, King Power’s Cup, Support Nong Pi’s Dream to Become a Professional Footballer, and Hero Academy Football Charity for children in five southern provinces. As the owner of Leicester City Football Club in England, and the Belgian football club OH Leuven, the company has a project for the promotion of capable footballers to play in European leagues.
