King Power Joins “Kao Tor Pai Duay Palang Lek Lek” Fundraising Run for Hospitals in The South

King Power Thai Power has continuously supported social activities, and recently, King Power Group showed its dedication to the Thai society once again at “Kao Tor Pai Duay Palang Lek Lek” in the South by gathering the 1st batch of Fox Hunt football players whom King Power has sent to sharpen their football skills with Leicester City FC in the UK, as well as more than 150 King Power Phuket employees, to inspire people to exercise for health and join the charity run to raise funds for hospitals in the South on the Andaman side, and donated sum will be shared by seven hospitals in the southern region, during 24-27 October.

The venue was lively with enthusiastic runners from the starting point at King Power Phuket, with more than 150 employees and the Fox Hunt players joining the first set for a distance of 5.8km in the morning, and the mini marathon in the late afternoon from Laguna Grove to Xana Beach Club. There were fundraising activities to invite Phuket locals and travellers to make donations and join the fun, such as taking photos with “Toon” Artiwara Kongmalai’s and “Koi” Ratchawin Wongviriya’s cutout boards at Saphan Hin Park in Phuket.

The funds raised in this activity came to 36 million baht in total (as of 28 October 2019) and will be shared by seven hospitals in the southern region namely Somdet Phra Yuparat Saiburi Hospital in Pattani, Trang Hospital in Trang, Krabi Hospital in Krabi, Takuapa Hospital in Phang Nga, Phang Nga Hospital in Phang Nga, Maharat Hospital in Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Vachira Hospital in Phuket.
