King Power Thai Power proceeds to develop the power of sports at schools and communities across the nation through distributing world-standard faux-grass football pitches under the “Million Footballs, Million Power, for Thai Youth Dreams” project which has stepped into its 3rd year so far.
Recently King Power Group Chief Operating Officer Apichet Srivaddhanaprabha presided over the presentation event of the football pitch agreement to 20 schools and communities shortlisted for the 2019 at the Pullman Bangkok King Power.
The event also featured the training of professtional football pitch management. Former Thailand U-23 Team Coach Choketawee Promrut attended the event as a trainer recommending football tips and tricks for youth as well as sharing his experiences gained from Pangkhonwittayakhom School which made the cut to enter the project back in its 1st year in how to manage and take care of a football pitch.
King Power Group aims for Thai youth to gain an advantage of having access to football pitches which are safe and on par with the world standard pitches. The Group hopes that they can reach for their football dream faster. After successfully installing the pitch to schools and communities, the students and local people enjoy the benefit of sports playing in various aspects. The Group shall continue to distribute up to 100 pitches within 2022. So far 60 pitches have been installed across Thailand.
