THE ANNUAL KING POWER'S CUP 2017 OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED @ Pullman Bangkok King Power Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, Chief Executive Of cer of King Power Group and Vice Chairman of Leicester City Football Club, presided over the press conference of “KING POWER’S CUP 2017”, a youth football tournament for those under 15 with a grand prize of a million baht scholarship. SEE YOU SOON SALE PARTY King Power Group, the leader of duty free retail, presented “See You Soon Sale Party” campaign, offering up to 70% discount before closing King Power Rangnam for renovation, in order to relaunch the store as “the world’s most luxurious downtown duty free destination”. King Power Group, an international leader of duty free retailer, led by King Power Group CEO Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, has a goal to improve every aspect of Thai society in a sustainable fashion with the launch of “KING POWER THAI POWER”, a project to support Thai people in every aspect.The first activity is to support Thai youths in sport. “Sport Power” aims to improve football skills among Thai youths nationwide by building football fields for schools to allow children to have a place where they can exercise and spend their free time doing something constructive. A total of 20 schools will see a new football field in 2017, and by 2022, a total of 100 schools will benefit from this project. A million balls will be given to children so that they can practice their football skills. King Power Foundation and Leicester City Football Club were granted a permission to co-host the royal funeral rites of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. King Power Chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha presided over the ceremony and was joined by King Power executives and employees at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, the Grand Palace.The final round of the polo competition at the 29th SEA Games in Malaysia was between Thailand, led by Aiyawatt and Apichet Srivaddhanaprabha, and Malaysia, a former champ. Thailand won the silver medal with the score of 8 to 9. A pony from Thailand also won the Outstanding Horse title.
