King Power certified Amazing Thailand Safety & Health Administration (SHA) by Minister of Tourism and Sports and Minister of Health aimed at offering the best of travel experiences and pumping up the confidence of Thai and international travellers alike in regards to safety and health protocol.

Mrs. Srisuda Wanapinyosak, Deputy Governor for International Marketing Europe – Africa – Middle East and Americas, presented the SHA logo emblem to King Power Group’s representative – Executive Vice President Group Operations Siriporn Arayatakul

Mrs. Srisuda Wanapinyosak talked about the emblem which was granted to King Power Group’s hospitality operations, “On behalf of Tourism Authority of Thailand, the SHA certification emblem is given to King Power Group to ensure health and safety standards of its duty-free retail stores, Thai Taste Hub, Ramayana Restaurant, Mahanakhon SkyWalk, Mahanakhon SkyBar and the Pullman Bangkok King Power. This certification scheme gives travellers assurance that the operators carrying this emblem strictly abide by risk mitigation measures to combat the pandemic have met all the required safety criteria set by Department of Disease Control – hygienic conditions of the operating premise, its facilities, its equipment, disinfection practices to prevent the spread of the virus as well as  necessary preventive protocol to protect the staff. In other words, these SHA-certified operators have what it takes to deliver pleasant travel experiences in this new normal environment which health and hygiene are of utmost importance”.

Mrs. Siriporn Arayatakul added that, “As a world-class travel retailer at the forefront of the industry, King Power Group is fully prepared with strict hygiene and health practices in place. We have stepped up preventive measures to facilitate smooth transition into new normal in the best and safest way possible to boost the confidence for local visitors, international travellers and our own staff, too. All service areas are routinely cleaned and screenings have been implemented at the entrance.
