Seiko has earned its reputation in the circle of watch lovers for over half a century. This month we see Seiko launch Seiko 5 Sports collection which is designed in collaboration with Street Fighter V, a world-famous Player VS Player fighting game featuring six models inspired by the game’s central characters - Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Zangief and Blanka. Model 1 Ryu The white dial and strap represents Ryu’s classic “do-gi” judo uniform and the scratch-like marks across the bezel reflect the tough training required of Ryu to become a true fighter. At the 9 o’clock is a simplified version of the iconic “Furinkazan”kanji characteristics on his gloves, which signifies his fighting style as swift as the wind, as gentle as the forest, as fierce as the fire and as unshakable as the mountain.
