Behind the Scene: Tasteful Travellers

This issue of Power magazine is humbly honoured by HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana to feature the Spring/Summer 2019 collection under Her Royal Highness’s brands SIRIVANNAVARI and S’HOMME, with “Bella” Ranee Campen and “Nine” Naphat Siangsomboon as models, Nat Prakobsantisuk as photographer and Sanshai Jirat Subpisankul as stylist.

The shoot was filled with happiness and everyone arrived at the set early in the morning. For hair and makeup, the stylist wanted the concept to be in line with HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana’s inspiration for the latest collection Abode of Metamorphosis, which is a journey into an imaginary world called “Naravanna”. This world is the world of peace and happiness, devoid of old civilisations. All living things you see in this world have mutated from their originals. Therefore, the crew set the studio to resemble this world.

The models’ excitement could be felt even before the shoot began. Nine began the first shot as a traveller exploring an unknown land, and he nailed the role really well. He was so impressed with the experience that he whipped out his black and white film camera to take a few snaps of this special moment.

“I’ve always loved taking photos, so I always carry my camera with me in case I have a chance to take pictures,” said Nine with a smile. He added, “I am glad to work with Power magazine once again. It was one of my first cover appearances and I still keep that issue with me. I am also very honoured to be wearing clothes from S’HOMME.”

The same feeling of joy was passed on to Bella, who sported a wet look. She said with happiness that it’s her first time trying this look, and first time working with Power magazine. She also felt very honoured to be wearing the latest collection from Her Royal Highness’s brand. She had specially prepared for this shoot by doing extra exercise to look even fitter than ever.

“It’s my first time sporting a wet look to go with the space-themed set. Today my character is an explorer who visits a new place. I love travelling, and of course my trips won’t be complete without King Power. It’s a great place to buy souvenir for friends both in Thailand and overseas.”

Nine is also an avid traveller. He said after the last shoot that King Power is the pride of Thai people, and he feels assured to have King Power as a travel companion.
