This time of year, restaurants bring out their best ingredients and marvellous concepts, while all the chefs put on their creative hat to whip up delicious creations. As food is the big trend today, foodies indulge in food that tastes good and looks great.

Pullman Bangkok King Power has various food outlets offering different vibes. I was instantly attracted to Tenshino and its new concept which presents original Japanese flavours with a European twist. Every bite is a feast of flavours. Monkfish is served with perfectly seared foie gras, a marriage of flavours and texture.

The ambience has an air of French vintage decor, making a visit to this restaurant an experience to remember.

Glen Bar offers a contemporary Thai vibe, while its food is flavourfully Thai. The curries, in particular, are cooked with premium ingredients. The music adds a modern touch to the restaurant.

Don’t forget to check out The Junction where you can enjoy tempting treats with a creative twist. You will love the full flavours as well as the nice ambience.

THAI PALETTE

Huge Canadian lobster is stir-fried with garlic and chili, mixing Thai flavours with juicy lobster at The Junction.

SPECIAL RECIPE

Dutch veal cheek is cooked until melt-in-the-mouth and served with apple sauce mixed with butter and gravy. It is the perfect dish for this winter at Glen Bar.

SENSE OF JAPANESE

A must-try dish, Wild Brittany Turbot Yuzu Miso is grilled turbot served on oba leaf, topped with Tenshino’s homemade yuzu miso sauce.

WINTER IN TOKYO

What’s better than enjoying hot Japanese soup and the taste of Kagoshima wagyu and imported vegetables and tofu. This dish is served daily at Tenshino.

AUTHENTIC MODERN

French lamb leg cooked in Thai red curry for seven hours is served with freshly cooked riceberry at Glen Bar.

CONSTANT AND HARMONY

Tenshino’s chef creates a special dish with monkfish cheek. Boneless and naturally sweet, it is served with seared foie gras and topped with sweet potato cream. Now that’s an East meets West flavour.
