King Power celebrates the 29th Anniversary in a spectacular fashion to let the honourable guests on a new journey of experiences while taking pleasure in picking a wide selection of designer fashion items. This year’s Delights & Surprises features special perks and privileges exclusively for King Power members. One of the members’ favourite highlights is the great trip of the year which King Power extends to special members every year. “Unforgettable trip to Europe”
When it’s King Power’s anniversary month, “Waiwin Nutthanont”, one of King Power’s valued members, usually makes himself available in order to take part in “Delights & Surprises” which is King Power’s big event held annually. Last year, he was one of the “Delights & Surprises” top spending members who went on an exclusive trip to “Italy, Monaco and France” with King Power.
“I got to on this 5-night trip starting in Italy. We visited many cities before spending one night in Monaco. Then we headed the south of France and ended the trip in Paris. It was impressive even though I’ve been to Italy and France but I still think it was fun especially in Monaco because that was my first time there”. Waiyarin told us cheerfully before letting us know about another thing which made this trip even more satisfying.
Apart from the beauty of the tourist attraction, I was also impressed by the services of King Power staff. They took great care of us and protected the benefits of the customers well. Other members who were also in this trip are all nice. There were about 20-30 people in our group and most already know one another. We used to meet

The most unforgettable place for Waiwin where he already checked-in online is Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel in Monti Carlo, Monaco.
“Despite spending only one night there, I was deeply impressed. Monte Carlo is a small town but it is brimming with history being a shooting location for James Bond 007 movie. If I have a chance, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back there. Waiwin shared his impression of this trip and revealed the bond with King Power as he has been King Power member for 6-7 years. He is very familiar with King Power because he frequently travels. Every year he has to go to China on business; at least 20 times a year, let alone 7-8 sightseeing trips.
“Whenever I take a trip, I will always make a stop at King Power. There are lots of women in my family so spending on cosmetics and perfumes are quite massive. I am a watch collector so I tend to spend on watches occasionally. Knowing that every year King Power holding a birthday anniversary event, Delights & Surprises, during October, I will make sure that I have to join in and take an advantage of the offers. This event is actually the year’s best deal as King Power intends to indulge the customers for their support throughout the year.
“The trip is like a bonus which I like because when taking a trip with King Power, you can be certain that it will be great. My favourite travel preferences include beaches, forests, mountains or shopping even. I can’t take it when it gets too adventurous like diving or hiking”. Waiwin added at the end.
Tanaboon Vanasapdamrong
“Good friendship is another flavour of travelling”
As the top spender of King Power’s “Delights & Surprises”, “Tanaboon Vanasapdamrong” had a chance to embark on a trip with King Power. Service and other tour members of that trip will always stay in his memory.
“I used to travel to the UK with King Power before joining the recent King Power’s trip to Italy, Monaco and France. I’ve already been to most places in this route. However, Monaco was a destination which I hadn’t been to and I always wanted to go. This time it was a good opportunity for me to visit Monaco”. Tanaboon started talking about the unforgettable trip. He fell in love with Monaco – a beautiful country with intriguing civilization. There were some places which I never expected I would have a chance to go but King Power took me there. The trip brought me new experience making it worth remembering.
“One of the highlights of this trip was dining at Michelin-starred restaurant in France. Not only that the food presentation was novel, so was the location of the restaurant. It wasn’t in a prime location but around a train station. The neighbourhood reminded me of somewhere around Hua Lumpong terminal in Thailand (laugh). When the staff took me there, I was surprised. When I knew that it was a Michelin-starred restaurant, I think it was strange and very interesting. If I travelled on my own, I wouldn’t have been exposed to this kind of experience.
Many places where King Power took me to on a tour were carefully selected and were new places that I had never been to. You couldn’t find them on regular tour packages, too. It would be difficult to go to these places on my own so it was an eye-opening discovery for me.
Tanaboon also added that other tour members also played a vital role in making this trip a happy memory. “Some of the people who went on this trip were the ones I’ve already met. Everyone was nice and kind. The trip gave me a chance to meet people from different walk of live. When I went to the UK with King Power, I got to know a lot of good people with good conversations on the tour. In that trip, I went to several cities in the UK. Many places where King Power took me to on a tour were carefully selected and were new places that I had never been to. You couldn’t find them on regular tour packages, too. It would be difficult to go to these places on my own so it was an eye-opening discovery for me.
For the past five years of membership, Tanaboon told us about the duty free merchandise that he usually spends his money on which are inevitably cosmetics, purses and watches.
“I went shopping in almost every single trip depending on what I saw. Most of the time, I shop when I travel and I travel at least 10 times a year both for work and for pleasure. If I happen to be in Thailand during “Delights & Surprises”, I would definitely come shopping at King Power. This event never let me down. It was more than likely that I would get my hands on watches.
“When King Power gave away a tour package to reward top spending members, I like it because I get to shop for my favourite items and win a free trip at the same time. If you ask me where I’d like to go next, I would say a trip to go view auroras or a trip to exotic Africa”, Tanaboon said.
Natechanok Srisuntiroj
“Travelling opens up endless experiences”
“Despite having visited various countries in Europe, “Natechanok Srisuntiroj” was still immensely impressed with a wonderful experience she had during a trip for Delights & Surprises’ top spenders which organised by King Power.
“The recent trip with King Power was a trip to Italy, Monaco and France. The special part was a visit to Monte Carlo which I had never been to. For Italy and France, I’ve been to big popular cities which are easy to go. A trip with King Power took me to small towns which I had never been. These towns just started to buck a travel trend and they are not easy to access on your own. That’s why this trip was a special one”.
Of all the destinations in this trip, Natechanok particularly favoured Italy. She was so impressed that she said, “If I have a chance, I’d like to return to some of the towns she visited in this trip again. I’m not quite finished looking around these places because of the rain and the snow. As for France, we went to several towns in the south. I fell for charming places like Nice, Cannes, Province and Côte d’Azur.
I’m very fond of friends I met on this trip. There are some whom I’ve already known and some whom I’ve just met on this trip. At first, we were not familiar with one another but we grew closer as we went along. That made the trip more enjoyable.
Attractive destinations were not the only factor which made the trip memorable. New friends she met on this trip also hold a special place in her heart.
“I’m very fond of friends I met on this trip. There are some whom I’ve already known and some whom I’ve just met on this trip. At first, we were not familiar with one another but we grew closer as we went along. That made the trip more enjoyable”. Natechanok told us energetically and also gave a thumbs-up for King Power’s big annual event – Delights & Surprises.
“I like it and I often attended the event myself. When I could make an early preparation, I’m usually able to find something to shop. If I’m busy, I could only go on the last days and I couldn’t shop properly. I need enough time for shopping when it comes to watches, cosmetics or wine. For watches, I’ve bought almost every single brand available at King Power (laugh). For the trip I’d love to go to is a trip to South Africa because it is harder to go there on my own. With King Power as a chaperone, I feel I ‘m in good hands”.
Apart from being a die-hard fan for attending King Power’s events every chance she could, Natechanok added further that she was a frequent travellers. Each year, she goes on several trips for sightseeing as well as a trip to the UK twice a year to visit her kid. That’s why she regularly goes shopping at King Power.
“I like shopping at King Power Rangnam. Like I told you earlier, when I shop, I need time. I usually go shopping at King Power Rangnam”. Natechanok wrapped up our conversation with a smile.
