BANGKOK, 16 October 2019- Mahanakhon Bangkok SkyBar, Thailand’s highest restaurant and bar, is now open for lunch with new signature dishes by Executive Chef Joshua Cameron. In addition to the dinner experience, the modern brasserie is now offering a two-course culinary journey with stunning views of Bangkok, starting from 850THB net. Located in the heart of Sathorn, the restaurant is on Level 76 of King Power Mahanakhon Building.
Starters include Cured Norwegian Salmon, Grilled Naan Province Pork Jowl, and a vegetarian Grain Salad with labne, puffed grains and locally sourced vegetables. New signature main dishes include an option of Grilled Pork Loin, Seared Andaman Seabass and a delicious vegetarian Parisian Gnocchi. All two-course meals include a coffee or tea.
Within the theme of an eclectic journey, Executive Chef Joshua Cameron’s dishes reflect flavours inspired by various regions around the world including the Middle-East, Scandinavia, France and Thailand.
In addition to a new lunch menu, Mahanakhon Bangkok SkyBar is also unveiling the “Fall/Winter Collection 2019” of ten unique drink collection creations by Bennie and Dannie Sorum—two influential Swedish personalities within the regional bar scene. The drinks draw inspiration from familiar local ingredients such as sundried banana, as well as more sophisticated components such as dry-hopped passionfruit tonics, Sparkling Coffee, and Chocolate Black Pepper Wine.
