To Support Medical Sectors and Staff
Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation made another contribution to support the morale of medical staff who are working at the forefront of the ongoing battle against COVID-19 in the hope that all Thai fellows could survive this outbreak by presenting 45 million Baht to 3 medical sectors for use in treating infected patients, acquiring medical equipment and other medical preparations needed to tackle the critical situation. Concerned with this grave situation, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation was aware that the situation calls for financial support in various areas and the foundation also decided to make this contribution in order to carry on the wish of its late founder and president – Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha who established this foundation with an unwavering determination to assist and support social contributions especially in education and public health of Thailand.
The first fund presentation was submitted by Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation President – Khun Aimorn Srivaddhanaprabha who donated 20 million Baht to Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute with the Institute Director Apichart Vachiraphan, M.D. being the recipient on 13 March 2020.
Next came the turn of Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation President Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha who submitted 5 million Baht to the Department of Disease Control. Dr. Suwannachai Wattanayingcharoen was the department’s representative and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul was also present as a witness on 17 March 2020.
The latest fund presentation was also made by Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation President – Khun Aimorn Srivaddhanaprabha together with the foundation committee. 20 million Baht was presented to Ramathibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Hospital with Piyamitr Sritara, M.D. receiving the fund on behalf of Ramathibodi Hospital on 20 March 2020.
