The foundation was initially established in response to the intention of Somdet Phra Nang Chao Sirikit Phra Borommarachininat Phra Borommaracha Chonnani Phanpi Luang. Her Royal Highness expressed a wish to set up a foundation as a sanctuary for all women with breast cancer. Consequently the foundation aims to offer assistance the patients, encourage proactive measures to effectively reduce the risk of breast cancer and provide physical and mental care to the patients.

The foundation has played a major role in assisting and protecting the rights of women fall prey to the violence and other threats. The foundation believes that families and the society as a whole would benefit from women if they are well taken care of so it sets up 4 operation centres in each of the 4 regions across the country.

“We can take the first step in helping cancer patients just by getting a haircut which we can all do it fairly easy but a wig could well be the last thing that they get to buy”. The foundation branched out from the joint efforts among volunteers to craft a wig made from authentic hair donated for the needy cancer patients.
